Highly challenging

A challenge-level trip which will take you to the special sites of Catalonia, combining hiking trails for those with hiking and navigating experience, as well as exciting sports activities in the coastal and mountain areas.

Discover the famous cities of Barcelona, Girona and Besalu. Wander through the narrow alleys of Rupit and Tevertet, where the houses have been preserved since the Middle Ages. You will learn to recognize the difference between the tourist villages and those that are just beautiful.

To access and get to know those special places, we will hike on trails which require prior hiking experience in mountainous conditions. These hikes are meant for participants who are physically fit.

Additional exciting activities include abseiling down waterfalls, walking along the cliffs   of the "Via Ferrata", and kayaking on the river rapids.

We will also take a break between these activities, and stroll through the alleys of the villages and cities to learn about their history and architecture.

For example, a visit to St. Pere Casserres, a secluded monastery overlooking the water, and a tour of various observation points where many restaurants serving regional specialties may be found.
